In recogni­tion of his work in the field of Medicine, Re­search, Medical Education and Paper Presenta­tion in Interna­tional Forums Dr. Subhan Elahi Siddiqi has been elected Fellow of American College of Physicians which is a rare honour given to any Physician. Dr. Siddiqi, who after qualifying MBBS did his initial job in Jinnah Hospital, later went for higher education in UK., obtained D.T.M. & H. and M.R.C.P. degrees. He was later elected F.R.C2. from Edinburgh. He worked as Associate Physician (Hon) in Medicine at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre and is Medical Services Director in Merck Sharp & Dohme of Pakistan Limited at Karachi. He is a practicing Physician in Internal Medicine at Karachi and has presented Papers in Mediter­ranean and International Congresses of Chemo­therapy in addition to Papers presented in various National Congresses in Pakistan. His election to FELLOWSHIP of American College was made this year in Board of Regents meeting of the College held in January.
