You must have used a search engine to search for information on the web. Search engines like Webcrawler (http://www.webcrawler.com) or Alta Vista (http://altavisth.digital.com) are used for a general search on any topic. In this issue, we will review two search engines specially designed for a medical search. MedExplorer at http://www.medexplorer.com is the most comprehensive medical search engine. You can either use a keyword and search their database or use their category search which is full of titles from Health Administration to Alternative Medicine. You can even get the addresses/links to web sites of differeni. hospitals/clinics! nursing Homes IRehabilitation centres categorized country-wise, from Saudi Arabia to the US. One drawback about the site is that they have crammed a number of links in a short place which makes the main page stuffed with hypertext.

The main page is beautifully designed with excellent graphics and navigation tools. MedSearch isa career center, bulletin board, news group and employment site all rolled into one.
